Wounded

I feel
Wounded
Deep inside
It's from
My hurts
I want to hide

I need
Comfort,
Strength
It's true

Where do I
Find it
If not
From you?

I lean towards
You
Then turn
Away?

I'm afraid
Of being
Hurt again

I feel
Wounded
Deep inside
It's from
My hurts
I want to hide

I look to you
My lover,
My friend

Hold me now
Hold me gently
The strength of
Your love
Heals the wound

Clouds

I like to think about the
meaning
Within life
It's corners
Curving
In complexities

Looking upwards
Out
My window towards
The cloudy sky

Abundant clouds
Amazing
How they
show their
Immense strength
These clouds disarm
My thoughts
Remove
My worries

Clouds lead
My intricate life
As a woman
Towards another perspective

A woman
Able to appreciate
Green trees
Red chimney tops
Graceful
Red-winged blackbirds

These clouds
Pleasing my mind
And imagination
Giving me a quiet pleasure
